Pacific Rim Mechanical was founded in May 1987 by Jim Broyles, Terry Broyles and Ted Keenan. Since that time other key managers have been brought into the partnership to form today's ownership group of nine partners. From the company's inception, we have consistently defined our core values as honesty, integrity and respect for the company's employees and customers. Our mission statement is the same today as it was our first day of operation:
* Provide a safe work environment where our employees are treated with honesty, integrity and respect.
* Convey these values to our customers through partnership in construction projects that are the highest quality, greatest value and evolve into long term working relationships.
* Utilize these concepts to become the preferred employer and contractor in Southern California
We believe that we must create a great place to work where individual opportunity is provided to all equally, openly and fairly. Utilizing the merit shop concept, individuals are recognized and rewarded based on their achievements. Under these principles, the company's revenue and reputation has evolved into a firm recognized for performing high quality work in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties.
Our major construction work type has been biotech, pharmaceutical, electronic manufacturing, hospitality, gaming, and telecommunications. We have focused on partnering with our customers to provide compelling value through the design and construction of the most difficult types of mechanical construction work. Our model is to obtain work through a negotiated design build, design assist or select list plan and specification format. We accomplish this by providing a strong engineering team that can provide a detailed conceptual estimate by system that evolves through the design process into a complex facility. These plans are then brought to life by our experienced construction and commissioning departments.
