In the summer of 1996 Dean Simon developed a unique process for prepping, roasting, grilling and flash freezing first quality vegetables picked at the peak of flavor. Dean founded SDG Foods and applied his know how to a business dedicated to the development of the best tasting highest quality fresh grilled and roasted vegetables available anywhere. As word spread, demand outpaced production capacity and necessitated a move to a state of the art 60,000 square foot, company owned production facility. SDG quickly became the leading producer of top quality, IQF roasted vegetables in the country.
